Thanks.!!! *Job Title: Senior Business Analyst* *Location: Herndon, VA Duration: 10 Months+* *Must be in US from past 5 years* The client seeks an individual to provide on-going maintenance and support of technical monitory systems including resolutions to bug reports, monitoring and verification of the health of the application and its various components. Additionally this resource will be working with team members to define automation requirements, test new automation enhancements, and maintain automation code. NOTE: Client must be onsite in Herndon VA. No remote work. Supplier will provide personnel with the following qualifications and skills to perform the Services: Required Qualifications: • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst • Defines and documents customer business functions and processes • Consults with management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access • Lead requirements analysis, validation and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable • Analyzes the feasibility of, and develops requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users • Tracks and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications • Strong understanding of the full lifecycle (SDLC) with Agile/Scrum experience Additional Qualifications: •Proven ability to consult with business end users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives •Participate in customer status meetings as scheduled •Facilitate requirements prioritization based on business need •Collect and analyze the project's business requirements and transfer the same knowledge to the development team •Manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle •Knowledge of relational databases and client-server concepts •Experience working in a Windows environment •A strong understanding of web-based applications Preferred Qualifications: •BS in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field, or equivalent experience and/or professional certification •Experience working in a Java based platform •Experience with VersionOne •Ability to write basic SQL queries •The ability to think analytically, solve problems to complex business processes, and document results •Excellent communication skills: expected to write requirements documentation, and other documentation as necessary Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint Additional Provisions: • Pass a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check. • Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process. • If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance. • All candidates must be a US Citizen, have permanent residence status (Green Card), H-1B Visa. • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
