Job Description:
Description of Duties (primary & secondary) % of Total Work
Effort
Analyzing and writing Oracle PL/SQL code (80%)
Analyzing and upgrading Oracle Forms 11g (5%)
Analyzing and upgrading Oracle Reports 11g (5%)
Unit test, documentation, code review (10%)
Technology Experience
-Operating Systems/Environment
Linux experience advanced (3+ years)
Korn Shell experience advanced (5+ years) - Ability to analyze,
modify and create Korn Shell scripts
Programming Languages/Development Tools
-Oracle PL/SQL - Expert experience (7+
years)
-Expert skill analyzing and writing PL/SQL. Ability to use advanced
features such as ref cursors and built in packages
Oracle Forms/Reports - Expert experience (3+
years)
-Expert skill modifying and creating complex (non base table) forms and
complex reports
-Opencobol - Beginner experience (1 year)
- Ability to analyze and modify Open Cobol modules
-Database Systems/Database Tools
Oracle Database 11g - Advanced experience (7+ years)
Oracle PL/SQL - Expert experience (7 + years)
-Expert skill analyzing and writing complex SQL statements using multi
table joins, exist clauses, etc. Ability to tune SQL.
Frameworks/SDLs/Methodologies SDLC - Advanced experience (7+
years)
-Working knowledge of SDLC
-QA/Testing - Approaches, Applications Developer Unit test - Advanced
experience (7+ years)
-Ability to perform comprehensive unit tests and provide adequate
documentation of tasks
-Developer Code Review - Advanced experience (7+ years) ability to defend
code and logic in a formal code review
-Misc. Applications
WebLogic Application Server - Intermediate 2 years Experience
developing Oracle Forms and Reports in a WebLogic environment.
