Work will include analyzing, encoding, testing (unit, functional, user), debugging, and documenting a new version of their payroll reporting system. Our client intends to use the .NET Framework 4.5 with the application written in C#. In addition, the application will rely on Active Reports and Microsoft Access 2010 or 2013. This project will be managed using the Agile Scrum Methodology. *Responsibilities* Will be expected to participate in product backlog creation, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. Code walk-throughs with Information Technology Staff. The goal is a complete knowledge transfer of the program and how it works. This will allow the department to perform maintenance on the application after deployment. *Qualifications* · Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science with an emphasis in software design and development highly desired. · Must have three to five years’ experience with .NET, C#, ADO.NET, Active Reports, Microsoft Access 2010 or 2013, and object oriented programming. · Needs experience in an Agile Scrum environment or can demonstrate an academic knowledge of the methodology. · Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development field. · The applicant will be expected to rely on his/her experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. · A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
