- This position is for an Automation Engineer to automate testing of our
Informatica and DTCC processing straight through to the carrier platforms
*Goals for assignment:*
· Automating data comparison of files created out of the
Informatica process for DTCC and Accord ,matching record counts and
transaction data with failure on any mismatches.
· Build capability to create a set of data for end-to-end
validation through to carrier platforms for files created both for DTCC and
Accord
· Modify this test automation to also serve as a validation of
correct processing in production with auto- notifications when a validation
step fails.
· On demand capability to execute file compares of current day
files to previous days files, with certain fields masked to prevent false
results.
· Design an automation framework for selecting the tests to be
executed, data to be utilized and results summarized.
· Execute automated tests and train the integration and platform
teams on how to configure and execute them.
· Potentially assist with other test automation development.
*Experience:*
Required:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing test automation
utilizing HP UFT/QTP.
· Experience in developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Views and
Triggers, Complex SQL queries using SQL Server, TSQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
Nice to have:
· Experience in the Testing of Business Intelligence solutions
using Data Warehouse/Data Mart Design, ETL, OLAP, BI, Client/Server
applications.
· Experience in Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) data
from various sources into Data Warehouses and Data Marts using Informatica
Power Center (Repository Manager, Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow
Monitor, Metadata Manger), Power Exchange, Power Connect as ETL tool on SQL
Server Databases.
· Prior experience training manual testers on executing tests
created using an automation framework.
· Experience using Selenium/C# for developing test automation.
