*Job Title: Salesforce Developer* *Location: McLean, VA * *Duration: 12 Months +* *Job Description:* · Candidate must have a proven background Salesforce.com development, including Apex, workflow and Visual Force · Should be able to develop and configure Visualforce, AppExchanges, Force.com and integrate into 3rd party solutions. · 3rd Party Application Integration experience is required · Design/ implement database enhancements including; custom objects, custom fields, custom formulas, validation rules, approval processes, record types and custom workflows · Ability to design, code, test, debug, package and deploy quality, scalable and well documented solutions on the Salesforce platform. · Experience working on full Salesforce life cycle implementation · Maintain a holistic view of all business processes of different teams and users in the system to understand cross functional impacts of new custom development with regard to configuration, process, workflow and reporting · Successfully document / maintain documentation on application code, application use and flow · Strong understanding of relational databases with ability to do data modelling to meet the business needs · Candidates with Salesforce.com developer certification preferred *Education & Experience: * · Bachelor s Degree in Information Systems · Hands on, 3-5 years experience with APEX and Visual Force development. · Use of Salesforce APIs (via java, etc.) to integrate Salesforce with other tools. · Experience with Force.com migration tool desired. · 3+ years of experience with technical implementation, day-to-day operations, and long term maintenance of Salesforce. · Must be comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations. · Ability to work independently and engage supervisor as needed.
