*Please find the below requirement.* *Position 2: Senior Business Analyst,(Finance)* *Location: CA* *Duration: 6+ months* *send resumes at bv...@activesoftinc.com <bv...@activesoftinc.com>* *Responsibilities:* - Own analytics and data modeling that shapes inventory management. - Analyze and automate decisioning around what books we should procure, when it is best to liquidate inventory and pricing. - Develop and define key business insights to drive company’s transition from physical supply chain for print textbooks to digital supply chain for eTextbooks and online services. - Generate dashboards, tools and templates to monitor inventory profitability. - Present and communicate broadly with key stakeholders including executives and business leaders. - Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as required. *Requirements:* - 3-5 years of demonstrated success in data science and/or business analytics. - Proven ability to formulate, perform and draw actionable conclusions from complex analysis with very large datasets. - Extensive analytical toolset including an advanced understanding of statistics. - Hands-on experience with statistical computation tool such as R, MatLab or SAS. - Expert in a scripting language such as Python. - Fluent in writing SQL queries for data manipulation. - Excellent at Microsoft Excel. - Hands-on experience with Tableau preferred. - Ability to prioritize and deliver within a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
