Interviews will be phone screen first and then possibly a face to face. Manager is seeking Senior-level (6+ years experience) Java Developer that can hit the ground running. Project is building out the back-end of internal portal. The ideal candidate can work independently, has excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Team consists of about 20 developers, working in groups of 2-3. This contractor will have minimal interaction with the business owners, but some design work would be helpful. Six month contract with possible extension. *Required:* · 5+ years developing Java applications · 3+ years developing Java web-based applications · 3+ years using Object oriented design and OO Patterns · 2+ years experience with Spring, Hibernate and JSP · Ability to clearly communicate with technical leaders - verbal and written · 5+ years working with relational databases and SQL queries/schemas. (Oracle preferred) · BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent. *Preferred:* · 2+ years experience with Subversion, Ant, Maven, JUnit, Eclipse IDE, JavaScript and Tomcat · Java 7 o Knowledge of the MEAN framework o Familiarity with commodity-trading and derivatives terminology a plus.
