*Overview:*
Client is working with one of the top automobile OEMs and their connected
vehicle technologies and related partners. This role would be working in a
highly technical and fast paced environment, providing Quality Assurance
expertise, testing cutting edge hardware, software, firmware and mobile
implementations. We are looking for an *Android Developer* who possesses a
passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with
our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of
our mobile applications
*Skills & Experience:*
1. *Must have 3-5+ years of proven experience developing Android apps
including:*
- *Responsible for understanding Customer Functional Objectives,
System Functional Specification Requirements and derive Use Cases, User
Stories Backlog, Application Design, Code and Unit Test Cases.*
- *Interact with Architects to design implementation of complete
feature end to end from end customer interface to vehicle interaction.*
- *Ensures the project is completed on time and meets all business
and system requirements*
- *Responsible for Developing, Testing, Releasing, and Maintaining
native Java applications.*
- *Own the Complete Android Development end to end, including the
Code base, Integration and Defect tracking.*
- *Communicates project status, progress on deliverables, and
risks/issues to stakeholders and leadership in a timely manner*
2. *Must have 2+ yr of automotive domain understanding of Vehicle or
Connected services.*
- Experience in end to end Telematics components, Infotainment
applications, Head unit applications *is a plus.*
3. Must have experience in all variants of Android Platform, Android
Wearable Platform etc.
- Strong Experience in Java, JavaScript, JQuery, Embedded
Programming, App development and Vehicle Software Development.
- Experience in Design/Develop/Validation of mobile applications, web
applications, and vehicle functionalities.
4. Should have Knowledge of Web services, REST APIs, JSON, XML.
- *Exposure to DOORs and Microsoft Office*
- *Exposure to CAN, LIN, HTTP(s), MQTT, Cellular network etc.*
- *Exposure to Head unit platforms like QNX.*
- *Exposure to Agile Methodologies, Sprint, Scrum process.*
5. Excellent team building, people and management skills.
6. Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
7. Must be self-starter, proactive and willing to learn and grow with
the business.
8. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.
9. Must demonstrate a hands-on approach, attention to detail and results
orientation.
