*Position: IT Project Manager* *Location: New York City, NY* *Duration: 6 month* I am seeking a Project Manager for a position in New York City. Candidate must have PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification. The job description is pasted below. It is a 6 month project. *DESCRIPTION OF the work* - Plan, execute and control projects in order to deliver them on time and within budget. Projects include implementation of an Infrastructure and Application Monitoring service - Manage project resources and costs - Manage project communications - Manage issues, changes and risks - Communicate with customer and internal teams - Create and maintain project management documents throughout the life-cycle of the project from Start Up to Closure - Manage transition from project team to operations and support *Education and Experience* - At least 10 years of IT work experience - More than 5 years of experience in managing IT projects - PRINCE2 Practitioner certification - Good knowledge of Infrastructure and Systems monitoring solutions and best practices - Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Hosting services - Good knowledge of Managed Hosting and Cloud services - Experience in managing projects in a multi-cultural environment - Experience in managing remote teams *Languages* · Excellent knowledge of English is required · Working knowledge of one other language is highly desirable.
