*Role: SQL Server Developer* *6+ months* *Location:NYC* *MUST IN-PERSON INTERVIEW* *MUST have recent experience in financials industry in* *equities or derivatives* *– specifically in smaller organizations (client prefers not to see candidates from the big banks)* *The client wants to see candidates with asset management/investment banking background – NOT big banks like Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Citigroup, etc.* *Some asset management and investment banking firms are BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street, Fidelity, Allianz, JP Morgan Asset Management, Pershing, PIMCO, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, UBS, Credit Suisse, Barclays Capital, Nomura, RBC Capital Markets, BNP Paribas, TD Securities, Lazard, Jefferies, Prudential, Societe Generale – too name a few.* *Insurance experience (such as Met Life, Liberty, AIG, The Hartford, etc) is not the same as asset management/investment banking.* Effectively design, develop, implement & support Business applications, Enterprise Data Warehouse. Develop extracts and reports out of data intensive systems.
