Provides support where necessary to facilitate daily operational issues related to Corporate Tax applications (e.g. releases, problem resolution).* *Position Summary :* *Seasoned professional who supports technical teams responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and performance of the portfolio of services and its supporting applications for Viacom Corporate Tax.* ** *Technical Expertise :* · *Possesses a broad understanding of current capabilities & limitations of Corptax, ONESOURCE Tax Provision, BNA Fixed Assets, ONESOURCE Indirect Tax and 1099 Pro.* · *Demonstrates familiarity with SAP, Longview, Crystal Reports, SAP Business Objects, SQL Server, Microsoft Access and Excel. Effectively facilitates complex troubleshooting.* · *Maintains current knowledge of industry and technology trends and is able to apply that knowledge to existing application management processes.* · *Seen as a key resource for the business, ensuring their systems/applications are performing up to requirements.* *Role Responsibilities :* · *Provides technical support and problem resolution for customer inquiries. Escalates where necessary.* · *Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems. Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems.* · *Leads post-implementation reviews of the application to ensure its effectiveness and relevance to the business.* · *Designs and creates data integration between applications as well as Job controls, custom scripts and custom monitor utilities.* · *Analyzes the current state of the application and identifies opportunities for improvement and future releases. Contributes to changes to established blueprints, documents them effectively, and coordinates the implementation.* · *Provides ongoing support and troubleshooting for installed applications by analyzing a chain of events and applying technical knowledge following established procedures and standards.* · *May lead a small team of technical contributors, providing work direction, guidance and coaching.
