12 Months Role Description " SharePoint 2013 (would be a plus and highly preferred) Building SharePoint site collections and web applications Develop, design and manage content, customization, forms, and custom work flow in SharePoint 2010/2013 Experience with Flash programming and redesign Developing and deploying SharePoint features Microsoft Office integration with SharePoint Customizing document libraries Expertise in SharePoint Backup, Recovery and DR. Experience in PowerShell and windows scripting Strong experience with the .NET Framework tools and the Web development environment Microsoft .NET Framework, including ASP.NET, C#, .NET, VB.NET, Web Services and XML Analyze business requirements, assess alternatives, configure and/or develop SharePoint 2010 web parts, pages, navigation and security to meet business needs Follow SharePoint Best Practices in content management and taxonomy Customize and deploy Master Page changes Create custom SharePoint style sheets and web parts Design and develop user interface elements in SharePoint Create and modify web pages within SharePoint applications Provide user reports for multiple purposes Leading any/all SharePoint upgrades and migrations Maintain SharePoint system including troubleshooting and resolving problems Strong administrative skills in Window Server 2008/2012 Bachelor preferred in Computer Science or other technical subject area " Competencies SharePoint 2013 Experience (Years) 4-6 *Essential Skills* " 4+ years’ experience with SharePoint server farms, database, site collection, configuration, design, deployment and administration SharePoint 2010 4+ years SharePoint development experience 8+ years application development experience" *Desirable Skills* The candidate will have exceptional communication skills (technical, administrator, oral and written) to serve as SharePoint Developer. The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for the designing, developing and service delivery built on SharePoint. We are looking for someone who can deal with clients/customers and fully understand and explain in detail issues that could arise with a SharePoint application. The successful candidate for this role will be working as part of the VSolvit Development group at our DoD customer (DMEA) site in Sacramento, California. You will be working to develop, and redesign the current Flash and SharePoint systems in order to create more streamlined program functionality.
