*Skills Required and Job Description:*

5+ years of Applications DBA experience with fresh installation, upgrade,
applying patches, deploying and maintaining the systems.
• 5+ years of Applications DBA experience on HP Unix and Linux servers
• 3+ years of experience in Cloning, Encryption (Transparent Data
Encryption) and Data masking.
• Working experience in a SOX compliance environment with segregation of
duties is desirable.
• Working experience with multi-node multiple application top set-ups is a
must.
• 3+ years of experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting of
applications.
• 5+ years of knowledge of associated Oracle technologies e.g. Apache,
WebLogic, Concurrent Managers, Workflow Mailer, Server setup, and JAVA.
• Experience with Oracle EBS version 12.2.4 online patching is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle Access Manager (Single sign-on) Integration with
Oracle EBS is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in deploying the code using FNDLOAD and other
utilities.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience/advanced skill level in order to deploy
reports, processes and interfaces utilizing SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports,
Oracle Forms, HP-UX, and Linux.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Application System Administrator
capable to fulfill the major responsibilities of maintaining the
application tier.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze information identify
and formulate solutions to problems.
• Sound knowledge of Oracle systems implementation and produce documentation
• Extensive experience Installing, supporting, maintaining and deploying
the following Oracle E-Business Suite modules utilized by client:
o Financials:  Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General
Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Inventory
o Workflow:  As embedded in the E-Business Suite.

The ideal candidate must have experience and technical skills in the
following roles:

Applications DBA will work with the development Team/DBAs to install a new
instance, Data Migrate, clone development/test instances and to create the
Disaster Recovery instance.  He/she must be able to complete on-going
application tier patching and maintenance, including the technology stack.
He/she must be able to handle System Administrator responsibilities.
Demonstrable Skills
The Consultant resource should possess most of the following skills:
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze information identify
and formulate solutions to problems. Provides more in-depth analysis with a
high-level view of goals and end deliverables.
• Complete work within a reasonable time frame under the supervision of a
manager or team lead.
• Plan and manage all aspects of the support function.
• Extensive knowledge of and proven experience with data processing
systems, and methods of developing, testing and moving solutions to
implementation.
• Strong knowledge in project management practices and ability to document
processes and procedures as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other support team members and independently on
assigned tasks and deliverables with minimum supervision
• Communicate effectively with users at all levels, from data entry
technicians up to senior management, verbally and in writing.
• Self-motivated, working closely and actively communicating with person to
accomplish time critical tasks and deliverables
• Ask questions and share information gained with other support team
members, recording and documenting this knowledge
• Elicit and gather user requirements and/or problem description
information, and record this information accurately
• Listen carefully and act upon user requirements
• Convey and explain complex problems and solutions in an understandable
language to both technical and non-technical persons
• Present technical solutions to management and decision makers
• Follow the lead of others on assigned projects as well as take the lead
when deemed appropriate
• Think creatively and critically, analyzing complex problems, weighing
multiple solutions, and carefully selecting solutions appropriate to the
business needs, project scope, and available resources
• Take responsibility for the integrity of the solution
