*Position: **Build& Release/ DevOps Engineer **(2 positions)*

*Location: **Austin, TX*

*Duration: **11 months*

*Summary:*

·         The position of DevOps Engineer is responsible for the design,
build, and support of the client s software delivery platform

·         As part of a world-class team in a fast-paced environment the
candidate will have an opportunity to operate and engineer systems that are
highly performant, scalable, and will use the latest technologies

·         The client s culture is one of collaboration, measurement, and
automation

*Responsibilities:*

·         Build, deploy, and manage AWS services (EBS, EC2, S3, ELB, RDS,
etc)

·         Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure
systems

·         Monitoring tool and deployment automation development

·         Diagnose complex systems issues with multiple influencing factors

·         Work closely with the development team on upcoming features

·         Assist the support team with escalated customer issues

·         System security and admin credential administration

·         Research and recommend internal tool improvement and development

·         Develop scripts that support automation, innovation, and security
initiatives

·         Incident response to system alerts during local day hours

·         Potential evening and weekend incident response may be required

·         Create and review documentation and processes related to
recurring issues, new procedures, and knowledge transfer

·         Scope, plan, and execute utilizing Agile methodology and
JIRA/Confluence tools
