We are currently working on filling an exciting new contract opportunity for an *SAP Basis Administrator* position that will be based out in *Dallas, TX*. *Job Title: SAP Basis Administrator* *Location: Dallas, TX* *Duration: 6-12 Months* *SAP Basis Administrator* The TI Business-IT SAP Basis team is responsible for providing SAP Basis support for TI’s SAP landscape in joint collaboration with the world-wide UNIX support and DBA Operations team. *Detailed Services Required:* · Responding and resolving incidents that may arise in the production and non-production SAP environment · Resolving incidents that may arise due to system generated alerts · Monitoring of SAP Databases · SAP Database table space administration, resize, reorganization & Implementation of database patches · SAP Database statistics / reorganization (table, DB, views, index) · SAP Database parameter changes · SAP Transport Management · Implementing SAP OSS notes, kernel patches, support packages, add-ons · SAP Configuration of new printers · Transporting copies to SAP · Create new file systems · Scheduling new application jobs · System refreshes · On-call (24x7 coverage ) rotation 1 week ~ every 2 months *Coverage:* Standard Working Time: 8 hours X 5 days a week; weekends and outside core business hours during quarterly production release windows (normally 4-6 hours on Saturdays) and some on-call support 1) Is this a pure SAP BASIS Admin job or would the contractor need to get involved in any development? · Strictly admin, run/maintain · Solution manager (really nice) and LVM (plus), looking to bring in new systems 2) IS this project on – R/2 or R/3 environment or something else ( ECC 6.0 or above)? · R/3, ECC 6.0 3) Out of the following component what is required CRM, ECC, GTS, SCM, SRM, XI/PI, NetWeaver? · Netweaver 4) Comm skill Important , any offshore- onsite coordination? · Needed, will interact with internal clients Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
