Role: Project Manager Duration: Above 7 months Location: Brooklyn, NY 11201 Only Candidates with GC/EAD-GC/USC SCOPE OF SERVICES: · Manage the delivery of the Enterprise monitoring solution meeting the PSAC1 and PSAC2 monitoring and alerting requirements · Develop design and presentation documents for engineers and management. This would include, but not limited to VISIO or CAD type engineering drawings, bill of materials, and technical specifications with custom configuration to meet the E-911 needs. · Plan and coordinate the installation of all required system hardware and software for the monitoring system to enable the monitoring system to perform to predefined specifications. · Manage the schedule and plan for the testing and validation of the systems for functionality and, performance, fault tolerance and operation reediness. MANDATORY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: · At least 8 years of experience in Event Management and Emergency Service. · Project Management experience – including project planning, scheduling with significant project dependencies. · In depth knowledge of Enterprise Monitoring tools for Service Automation, Service Assurance, and Service Support. · Datacenter Operations experience – Service Desk, Help Desk, Operations Management · Solid technical leadership Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment for Emergency services. · Experience with IT Service Management and Enterprise Monitoring tools. · Functional knowledge of Operating Systems, Databases, and IT Infrastructure elements. · Proficient in MS Visio, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: · A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in MIS or Computer Science is desired · Experience in any content management system (TeamSite preferred) · Good communication skills · Experience using standard project tools including Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: References should be provided from at least two former or current clients where the contractor has performed the same or similar work.
