*Required:*
- 7 + years of experience on a data warehouse team with strong
understanding of ETL processes and standards
- *7 + years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter*
- 3+ years of Informatica B2B data transformation Studio (with
healthcare background)
experience with parsing healthcare data standards X12/EDI
- 3*+ years or more of UNIX shell or PERL scripting experience*
- *3+ years of experience in working with Data Quality Management tools
(IDQ preferred) and PowerExchange CDC (with Oracle platform preferred)*
- Proactively engages team members in problem solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, regularly and
effectively with team members
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and Outlook
- College diploma or university degree in Information Systems or
equivalent work experience

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
- Review and analyze ETL requirements, create design documents based on
business requirement and function requirement documents
- Design and develop complex mapping using variety of complex
transformations (XML, B2B etc...)
- Profile data using IDE (Informatica Data Explorer) to resolve
inconsistencies in data and to help Data Analysts document the findings
- Build metrics and rules to standardize the data while loading data
into ODS and EDW
- Troubleshoot, optimize and tune ETL processes
- Create, execute and document unit test plans based on system and
validation requirements
- Maintain existing code and fix bugs when needed
- Ensure that all data intensive processes are optimally distributed
across the layers of the overall reporting stack to achieve maximum
throughput
- Establishes and enforces data warehousing standards to meet IT
requirements and business needs
- Evaluates existing subject areas stored in the data warehouse and
collaborates with the architects on best practices
- Assists in several components of the overall architecture of the data
warehouse system
- Extensively worked with large databases in production environments
- Documents tasks for end-user, technical, and managerial review to
ensure high quality
- Working with various IT teams to analyze data in the data warehouse,
data mart or operational systems
- Train and mentor other junior ETL developers on team, Lead Code
Review sessions
- Provide off hour production support, as needed
