Role: Java Technical Lead Duration: Above 6 months Location: New Haven, CT 06511 Interview: Face to Face Only Local Candidates Description: The Technical Lead will function as a hands-on technical leader for a team of senior developers responsible for developing, testing and implementing new integrations and IAM features. The Technical Lead acts as a mentor for individual developers and leads the team in establishing best practices and methodologies to efficiently build and roll-out integrations among systems to enable seamless access provisioning, sharing of data, and participation in common business processes. The Technical Lead reports to the Associate Director of Applications Development in DevOps. This position will lead a team in developing integrations and IAM infrastructure components primarily in Java which extend, expose, and leverage Sailpoint Identity IQ, Talend (ETL), Layer7 SOA gateway, WebMethods, ActiveMQ, Jboss, Tomcat, SQL Server and Spring Batch Framework functionality. Lead and drive establishing standards, best practices, and methodology covering the entire software lifecycle in conjunction with the Senior Solutions Architect. Guide and mentor junior developers in the production of high quality code and development artifacts. Build complex and demanding portions of the platform and integrations, while simultaneously helping other developers to build, test and roll out their Identity and Integration solutions inter-connecting proprietary, internal, and cloud-based applications. Guide developers and teams in solving complex technical questions. Required Skill/Experience: 8-10 years of related work experience with at least 2 years as a technical team lead Deep knowledge of several of the following with exposure to many others: Linux/Unix, Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, J2EE Design Patterns, Eclipse IDE; Deep knowledge of Web technologies such as XML, SPML/SOAP, Web and Application Servers, HTML, ETL Proven experience working with Oracle or SQL Server or other large database. Preferred Skill/Ability: Knowledge of Sailpoint Identity IQ, Layer7 SOA Gateway, Data Integration Tools (Talend or WebMethods).
