Top Must to Have skills: Expert with WCF, Dependency Injection, C#, Financial Services, Trading Systems or similar, .Net 4.0/4.5, UI Development, Object Oriented Programming (Design Patterns, Multithreading, Data Structures, UML, Singleton, Garbage Collection, etc), LINQ, Any IOC Container, Mock/ORM Framework *Job Summary: * As a C#/WCF Developer, you will design and develop technology based business solutions for our clients in the financial services and energy trading industry. You may be required to play a team lead role for a small team and/or take on responsibility for the development for a specific component or track of the solution architecture. At all times you will actively support the development, and drive quality assurance during design and realization of the solution. *Primary Responsibilities:* Support or lead design, estimation and planning tasks for the solution using technical and functional expertise. Generate and review estimates, which include anticipated risks. Facilitate clients in meetings to capture business requirements and develop solution design using best practice/design patterns. May be required to be hands-on developer for complex areas. May be required to support and enhance existing client applications. Manage projects, people, and scope and be responsible for quality for your development track/team throughout the project lifecycle. *Experience Guidelines:* • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. • Significant, hands-on experience in solution design, architectural analysis within trading systems (or similar). • Good understanding of financial and energy trading markets, especially front and mid office within at least one asset class or product type. • Proficient in C#, .Net 4.0+ with strong focus on UI development • Proficient in Core C#/.NET fundamentals especially OOPS - UML Artifacts, Design Patterns - Singleton/ Factory/ Observer/ Bridge, Tasking, Generics, xUnit/ Mocks, Collections, GC, events and delegates, Multi-threading and Generics. • Proficient in WCF fundamentals especially Dependency Injection and Eventing • Proficient understanding of new language features like LINQ and lambda expressions. • Significant experience in at least one IOC Container, Mock Framework and ORM Framework, NAnt, NUnit, FXCop and StyleCop. • Proficient in one or more Relational Databases: Oracle and MS SQL Server. • Excellent knowledge of OOAD, UML, Design Patterns and Data Structures. • Excellent problem-solving skills. • End-to-end experience in agile software development lifecycle. • Ability to influence and negotiate with clients and team members. • Project leadership skills including people management, scope and plan management and tracking. • Ability to abstract detail into larger (repeatable) patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques.
