We are currently working on filling an exciting new contract opportunity
for an *Agile Scrum Master Project Manager* position that will be based out
in *Fargo, ND*.



*Job Title: Agile Scrum Master Project Manager*

*Location: Fargo, ND*

*Duration: 6-12 Months*



*MUST HAVE CERTIFICATION*



The Scrum Master will work closely with Feed Management Software teams to
deliver commercial enterprise software. Candidates for this position are
expected to be ”servant” leaders with strong experience leading the
practice of Agile/Scrum to ensure that Scrum is understood and in place,
inside the Scrum Team and outside. The Scrum Master helps everyone improve
to make the Scrum Team more productive and valuable. He/she must have a
good understanding of the Scrum framework, Scrum values, Agile principles
and values in the Agile Manifesto with the ability to train others on the
subtleties. This position requires an experienced resource who will coach
and influence at all levels to drive increased agility, velocity,
predictability, innovation and quality.



The Scrum Master will be instrumental in continuing a transition from a
traditional approach to one that incorporates the Agile principles and
values, the Scrum framework and enables Scrum Teams to rapidly deliver
functionality that drives customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will
be a champion for Agile adoption and responsible for coaching and
developing self-directed development teams by engaging the stakeholder(s)
and removing obstacles to help us break new ground as we roll out agile
throughout our organization.



*60% Scrum team leadership:*

·         Acts as a Coach for the Development Team, helping to execute the
Scrum framework.

·         Protects the Scrum framework from improper modification.

·         Helps the team work together and learn the Scrum framework and
protect from both internal and external distractions.

·         Keeps the Development Team productive and growing in Agility.

·         Finds and implements the technical practices needed to get to
Done at the end of each sprint.

·         Faciliates Ceremonies as necessary.

·         Remove impediments to the Team’s progress that they cannot solve
themselves.

·         Leads/Teaches the Team to be accountable for the commitments they
make.

·         Ensures and fosters a collaborative culture within the Team.

·         Uses metrics to track and review team performance.



*30% Product leadership:*

·         Guide the creation and maintenance of the Product Backlog.

·         Coaches the team on clear and concise Product Backlog items.

·         Understands product planning in an empirical environment.

·         Ensures the product owner knows to arrange the Product Backlog to
maximize business value.



*10% Organization leadership and miscellaneous:*

·         Leads and Coaches the organization on Agile adoption.

·         Leads organizational changes that increases the productivity of
the Team.

·         Works with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of
the application of Scrum in the organization.

·         Defines metrics to radiate to the organization regarding Team
progress.

·         Assisting in Internal and External commununication, improving
transparency and radiating information.

·         Helping to further the Agile community within the organization by
giving learning opportunities to people in the organization.

·         Faciliates dicussions, decision making, and conflict resolution.

·         Keep up to date on Agile/Scrum techniques and clearly
communication recommendations to the team.



*Required*

·         University degree in Business, IT or equivalent experience

·         3+ years Scrum Master experience

·         5+ years experience in large software development project

·         Experience leading and influencing others, including senior level
personnel.

·         A team player who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment.

·         Established skills in identifying and developing strategies to
address change management issues.

·         Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques: User Stories,
Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration

·         Experience leading multiple Agile scrum development
methodologies, values and procedure

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to
communicate technical and business information effectively to both
technical and non-technical people.

·         Comfortable working with ambiguity

·         Proven conflict resolution and problem solving skills.

·         Scrum Master certification (CSM)

·         Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

·         Familiar with standard application software design concepts,
practices, and procedures.

·         Ability to perform duties with nominal direction.



*Preferred*

·         Delivery of commercial software products.

·         Experience with Team Foundation Server.

·         Strong business background including business process, financial
and/or supply chain.

·         Strong industry background including; process manufacturing,
animal nutrition and grain industries.

·         Strong technical background and experience with any or all of the
following technologies and architectures:

o   service oriented architecture

o   web services

o   databases

o   modeling and/or distributed computing.
