This is what the Usage Multiple is for. Each service can be assigned
a usage multiple when editing the service. For example, you can
create a service called Network Support set the frequency to 0 (zero)
so that it's a one time service and price it at your hourly rate, say
a nice round number like $100 an hour, and set the usage_label to
hours. When you add the service to a customer you can then enter in
the number of hours in the Usage Multiple field and it will multiply
the base $100 rate by that multiple to create the final amount and
that is what you'll see on the invoice. Each time you provide network
support you'll add a new one time network support service to their
account and enter in your hours worked in the usage field. After a
one time service is billed it is moved to the service history listing
of that customer.

The usage multiple can be used to bill hourly services, or per
megabyte, per day, per gigabyte, per minute, etc. whatever you want to
multiply a rate by.
