Keith,

I am currently using citrus to bill VOIP but not with Asterisk. I do not
store the CDR data but I have written a module that takes a CDR import file
and assigns the charge to the relevant customers as a total for billing. I
have no need for the CDR records in Citrus as there is a web portal for
people to check the call records. If you are interested I would be happy to
chat to you and modify the module that I have to suits asterisk CDR records.

Cheers.

Jeremy.

I found some information at this site. It might help.

http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk%20billing

If anyone else knows anything more or even a consultant that could help set
this up in a timely mannor that would be great.

Thanks,

Keith

It should be, but if you don't get it all and have overlapping id
numbers from new customers that were previously assigned to test
customers that could make things look funny.

I'd probably leave it alone unless you made a whole bunch of test data
that is taking up valuable space.

The tables to remove data from would be the billing table,
billing_details, billing_history, any _options tables for services,
customer, customer_history, payment_history, tax_exempt, and
user_services.

I need to start training people in our organization on CitrusDB and am going
to create a user guide -- a simple step-by-step manual on how to create new
customer accounts and dealing with the billing and service frequencies
(which I've found are easy to mess up). Has anyone done such a thing that
they'd be willing to share?
