I am thinking of requiring PHP5 for the next 1.2 release. This would allow me to use more of PHP5's features, especially it's more complete object orientation. PHP4 will have no more feature releases after December 31st, and no more security releases after August 2008, so I am looking for a time to update to PHP5 soon anyway and thought this would be a good opportunity. Is anyone else out there using PHP4 anymore?
