It will sorta work, but 1.2.1 will not have the corrected transaction code field for payment history, nor the declined subject/message fields. The right sql file to use should be available from this download: http://www.citrusdb.org/download/citrus-1.2.2.1.tar.gz
If you already have the file from 1.2.1 running, then you could update what you have by running the update script in 1.2.2.1 also, instead of re-doing the sql dump.
