I'm also using a very thin flexible guitar pick (.38 Clayton, probably = identical to Ken's since I left him one of mine last LSA in thanks for = the loan of his cittern). Originally, I was using a much stiffer pick (a = Fender, I think), but Mark Cudek let me try his at a workshop we had a = couple of years ago and I was sold on a thin flexible pick (his is even = thinner and more flexible than my current one, but apparently no longer = available) . =20
I suppose historically that plectra were probably quills of some sort, = but I wonder how well they held up with metal strings. ----- Original Message -----=20 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>=20 To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>=20 Sent: Saturday, March 05, 2005 4:19 AM Subject: Re: plectrums I use a guitar pick because of the simple fact that I seem to always = lose=20 them, so they are cheap and readily available in plentiful supply.
