music is very well known in Britain (nor perhaps in the USA too?). Is there
a website that has some music that would be played on the Waldzither?

No, not yet. It is all a question of time. And there are legal problems with
contemporary music with the rights.
(James Oswald is dead long enough ...........?)

Ha, that's funny, because I took the word out of an international dictionary
of musical terms. So much about the problem to discuss in a foreign
language.....

It's a little wooden piece that sticks between the soundboard and the back
(or groundboard?) It is not glued in between, but it has the effect to the
sound, that it is louder and shorter. It is in every violin !
So, if you don't have this thing, the sound will ring on and on until it
fades.....
If you have it in an instrument, the keys are clearly separate.
This is exactly what the music written for English guittar needs. Quick
arpeggios up and down the scale that are not interfered by long vibrations.

I hope, I could tell it in a way, that is understandable, this time.

with regards

Martina
