I will try to contact Hans Olav Gorset about that! The 1799 book contains a so called "March de Bonaparte", which is really a famous traditional norwegian brides march. This, in addition to the fact that sister is suggested as an alternative to langeleik in the quote in Aksdal's book, should mean that the sister also had a place in norwegian folk music.
