Fair enough. Good luck with it. I had a bad experience with POD, who asked
for all the Robert Edwards pieces for a CD he was doing. I thought, 'Great!
Finally one of the greatest players in the world will do this repertoire
justice', but it turned out to be for a CD of 'Robin Hood' broadside
connections.

Interesting interpretation of 'What michty motioun'. I look forward to
hearing it.

>>>Our next CD will have a scottish theme, with a slight twist.<<<

..hmm...

>>>I am sure that in some ways Scots music is more more markateble than
English music.<<<

As long as you don't call it Celtic!

Just for clarity, I'm just pulling your leg a little bit. Everyone brings
their own thing to this music, and I welcome all interpretations. You are a
brilliant lute and guitar player, and I am really pleased that you are
bothering with Scottish music at all. I wish more people would. I just
personally get a bit tired of it coming from either a market-led Celtic
perspective, or as a sub-genre of Elizabethan music. But we've been down
this path before, and I eventually get shouted down, so I'll shut up now ;-)

70's rock? Why not, indeed? Ritchie Blackmore now plays the lute. I saw Deep
Purple in 74 (I think) - bloody brilliant!
