To keep terminology clear:Boehm strictly built (nearly) flat backs of two
pieces like the Guitarra Portuguese/English Guittar.Boehm never built any
vaulted back, that is the Markneukirchen/Voigtland style with a Hamburgian
tuner. They did it for a louder sound. The Boehm sound, given the fact that he
used 20 % lesser string tension than nowadays is more like an English Guittar.
He did not need loudness, he had clubs of 30 to 100 Waldzither players......
And I have a wish to all of you: could you please name new subjects, when the
subject has already changed? Instead of re: re: re: re: Cabrals answer
.......'go for a drink', 'Hee hee, ha ha' , 'Rob's Guittar', 'Gibson
tuner'..... (for example) - it would give the mail flood a more detailed
structure
Thanks
