Hello, I'm restoring a Preston English guittar to playing condition and am now at the stage where some decoration on the fingerboard needs to be restored. I don't really know whether to use bone, ivory, ebony or something else. The fingerboard is tortoise shell. I have looked at a few Prestons but have not found any with the same fingerboard. I'll bet some of you will know what material should be used.
