Dear Martyn,
I think the problem arises, because computers keep changing things like text
to a default: either to plain text, or to rich text with a particular
default font. It is possible to change the font as I described in my last
message, just as it is possible to change the default font.
By the way, you've made the same mistake as I did earlier with this thread:
you've sent your messages to the wrong list, in your case to the Vihuela
List, instead of to the Cittern List. If there are people who subscribe only
to the Cittern List, they will miss your messages. If they subscribe only to
the Vihuela List, they won't know what you're talking about.
