That thing looks very much like an English Gittar to me ! I was wondering - with instruments like this which use a Preston-style 'watch key' tuning mechanism: getting hold of ready ready-made double-loop-ended strings of the right length is not exactly easy unless you are very fortunate. Is there any simple way anyone knows of for putting the loop ends onto the strings yourself ?
