Dear Edward, I wonder about the functions of *.fdx files. Werer has said the script makefdx.pl is used to creates proper entries for an FDX file, but in the cjk-package, I see that some *.fd files have the corresponding *.fdx files, some haven't, Why? Furthmore, when I use the *real font*, I haven't been told to creat the corresponding *.fdx files to *.fd files at all, just in use the virtual font, I meet the script makefdx.pl, so I think the *.fdx files are used by *virtual font* only, should this idea be right?
