No, not for free.

There are the free Japanese fonts sazanami-mincho.ttf and
sazanami-gothic.ttf of course. But no variants of these
with different levels of boldness.

"gothic" is often used for "bold" in Japanese printing.

OpenOffice doesn't come with Japanese fonts but of course you can use
any Japanese fonts you have installed with OpenOffice.

On Windows Vista there is a new "Gothic" style Japanese font
meiryo.ttc and a bolder version of the same font meiryob.ttc.
