Hi!

Recently I posted a message on comp.lang.postscript regarding the dvips
-Pdfaxlo problem.

See Google Groups for the complete thread:
http://groups.google.com/group/comp.lang.postscript/browse_thread/thread/e0cc7e8667134be4/878e47c1831169d4?hl=nl#878e47c1831169d4

LEE Sau Dan told me that PS rotation for glyphs is tricky, and that the
punctuation isn't right. At least, it's not right in this file:
http://users.edpnet.be/vanmeel/TeX/faxlo-good.ps

I've used a very recent snapshot of Fontforge to create Type1 fonts from
Arphic; I'm not sure what I should do to get correct punctuation glyphs in
vertical mode. Is this what GSUB (the substitution table) is used for? And
if so, how can I use that to get the correct vertical glyphs? Or is there
something in the font definition files that needs to change?

Cheers
