Dear Werner,

I find a more strange thing when using cjkutf8 work with cjk-extb. I
describe it like this:

The file cjk-extb-saved-by-emacs.tex is a tex file save by me under
Debian GNU/Linux 4.0r0 using GNU Emacs 23 with the coding system
utf8-dos, I save this file in a fat32 partition on my pc, than I go to
the Windows xp sp2, BTW, there are multi-OS on my PC, to latex the
tex source file, firstly, I open the file cjk-extb-saved-by-emacs.tex
with ultraedit and don't do any coding conversion, I find the file
will be correctly latexed. As a result, I can obtain the correct dvi,
and pdf file.

Furthmore, if I save the cjk-extb-saved-by-emacs.tex file with
ultraedit to another file, say, cjk-extb-saved-by-ultraedit.tex, I
find that I will not latex this file correctly any more, even I use
the same coding system as before.

For Your Information , I posted all the files mentioned above here.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I use Texlive 20070212 under Debian and MiKTex 2.7 Beta 5 under
Windows. The truetype font of CJK-Extb is provided by haifeng
(http://okuc.net/software/UniFonts.exe) and
I use the subfonts.pe shipped by CJK to generate the corrensponding subfonts.
