Dear Werner, I find the ttf2tfm package in the following location of my MiKTeX 2.7 distro:
C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.7\ttf2tfm In the above location, there only has one subdirectory, i.e., C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.7\ttf2tfm\base And the there' re the following files in the above subdirectory: ------------------ Big5.sfd ET5.enc EUC.sfd SJIS.sfd T1-WGL4.enc ttfonts.map UBg5plus.sfd UBig5.sfd UGB.sfd UGBK.sfd UJIS.sfd UKS.sfd Unicode.sfd VPS.rpl ------------------ It seems that this package has something to do with your CJK. But I cann't puzzle out the following issues: 1- What's the function of this pakcage? 2- And furthermore, can I use CJK package without this package installed?
