I know exactly how you feel and I am sure we all can compare horror stories
but let me tell this one that just happened and it may make you thankful
these people at least dumped their unwanted dogs at the pound. My daughter's
friend had 2 dogs that they brought with them from Colorado. One is an older
10 year old the other was only 1 year old male. They keep them chained in
their backyard no matter what the temperature is but thankfully they can get
under their porch. But this is the clincher. The younger one nipped at my 9
year old and made her cry. The man said that this was it, he was taking it
to the pound. Their daughter started crying so the dad said he would give it
one more chance. Later the mom and her daughter went to Florida on vacation
without the dad. He put that poor dog in a muzzle in the backyard. It
couldn't pant or drink so naturally it died. How pathetic....
