After 22 years of particolours I have just aquired my first wholecolour ..... a black
and tan girl to be known as "Cilla Black"
It seemed a rather fitting name and goes well with our Merseyports !!!!! although her
prefix is Alsdenn. At first the rest of the gang thought she was a Rottweiller ("shes
not one of us") and ran away or ignored her, but now shes been accepted and gives them
a bad time swinging on tails, ears or any other bit of anatomy accessible
. Its early days yet to decide whether or not she'll make it or not in the show ring,
but at 9 weeks she looks very promising. There are so many wholecolours, now gone,
that Ive admired over the years in her pedigree. She'll make her debut at our Club
Specialty in September but already she has won our hearts, so no doubt she'll be
staying regardless.
