Hi...Donna Hovey here introducing myself. I've been "lurking" for quite awhile on the list, just learning from all of you. Thanks for sharing your many years of information with the list. Chuck and I live in Laguna Beach, California and have three healthy, gorgeous, mischievous run-the-household Blenheims who we purchased from Harold and Joan Letterly. They've been so kind as to guide us into the addicting world of Cavaliers and dog showing. Do any of you have relatives that you can't control? I do, and my nephew just bought a Cavalier from an I-can't-believe-it BROKER in Texas. The poor little puppy was ill when they got it and they have spent several hundred dollars with the vet already. It is registered with the Irish Kennel Club. I also have the breeder's name and the broker's name. I am wondering if they were lucky and if this puppy is from a good Irish breeder, or if it is from a puppymill. Regardless, they have two little children and they love the puppy and it has a good home. They live in San Francisco and this broker has sold puppies to other people in the area. I am not sure if I can legally put out the breeder and broker's names on the list. Will someone who is familiar with Irish breeders please e-mail me privately?
