I am in Canada, but always had my Gordon Setters evaluated by BVA, which I believe is the same as AVA, as well as OFA. In my opinion BVA/AVA is a better method and gives a lot more information, the only reason I also sent films to OFA is because it is the most recognizable method in N. America. I have yet to be convinced of the accuracy of Penn Hip.
