Hilary,
I was actively involved with the Cavaliers of the West when I lived in
Portland and Monique was the regional president of the CKCSC,USA 's regional
club, COW. I was obedience table steward, confirmation ring steward and COW
cavalier rescue. The current COW President is Barbara Garnett-Wilson who
recently moved to Arizona. I know they both show in both AKC and CKCSC,USA
so I would find out which affiliation they want this new club to be
sanctioned. Either club would be great for so many cavalier dog fanciers
live in the Portland metro area. I am sure you could look up Monique in the
phone book an get further details if you felt that was necessary. There are
lovely cavalier people living in Oregon who are most helpful when it comes
to learning about this breed. I moved back to SC to be closer to family. I
