Hi, everyone;
The day might've started out cool and overcast, but it brightened
up beautifully...
Yesterday at the Tualatin KC, Banks, Oregon, Tilly (Covington
Scintillating Star) was WB for her first major, BW, and then BOB over
two specials to make it a 4 pointer!!! Yippee skippy! Never mind that she
defeated *my* bitch special handled by my 13 y/o daughter - who, at
the last minute, paniced that she didn't remember what to do, and
Jasmine was acting like she would've preferred to be in a warm spot
with 7-up and saltines. She went from PMS to morning sickness, rofl!!
(Anyone else experience morning sickness with their dogs? My Labs
used to do that, too!)
But the *really* great news is that my - speaking of my handler -
my daughter's soccer team won the Beaverton Cup tournament this
weekend!!! They had five incredible games (3-0, 3-0, 4-0, 3-0, & 4-0 -
which are HIGH scores for soccer!), and it was soooo fun to watch
them. We had to miss one (went to a bar mitzvah saturday afternoon,
and the dog show on sunday so I missed the first half of the
championship game), but I got some great photos and a bit of a
sunburn, lol!
Sorry, everyone, that I'm rambling, but it was a great weekend:
Sunday was a truly wonderful day, and I'm so pleased for the team, they
are the greatest girls!
