Got a chuckle over the posts about the climbing cavaliers. My rear

yard has a 4' stockade fence. I think he was less than a year when he
first scaled it. He's a great jumper and he would jump up at the gate,
put his forepaws on the top cross piece and launch himself over. I
tried the plastic bottles, they worked for a while until he figured out
how to knock them aside! Now he only does it to get to me on the other
side, but if I'm not in sight, he'll wander. So, anytime I'm going out
the gate, he goes with me or is locked up inside the house! Fortunately
I have a section that has a 6' perimeter which he has not yet mastered.
I have always said he is part cat, as he thinks nothing of climbing
along the back of the chair and then the couch to get to the desk where
he loves to stretch out! And, have you ever noticed their front paws?
They can cup them like a cat, and Dodger uses it to reach things and
move things as cats do!

They're much more loveable and fun than cats, though!
