Well, as my desk is awash with salty tears, and there's an ache in my heart,
I do hope that our Cavalier rescue can keep this from happening to our older
Cavaliers who find themselves unwanted.
A well-known breeder friend of mine just related a true story of a couple to
whom they sold a dog eight years ago. The couple enjoyed the companionship
and loyalty of that Cavalier for eight years, but now they want to
TRAVEL...and no longer want the dog. Thankfully, my breeder friend insists on
taking the dog back, and will give him a wonderful happy home, back where he
started. He's luckier than most.
I'm off to hug my doggies.
