Susan, You've got it bad!! Are you hooked or what! I know just what you mean. After years of Goldens, I have my first Cav. He's now 2 years old and I just love him to pieces. I really loved the Goldens but there's something about the personality and, yes, the face, of a Cav that is like no other dog around. (IMHO) They are truly companion dogs, that are happiest when with you, either at home or on the go! I'm hooked too. I know you'll have many happy years of companionship with your new baby.
