The result was those 12 people were brought up on charges, fined

My position has always been standing proudly behind the 12 brave and
courageous souls, who I strongly believe saved our breed from the hands of
unethical and UN-knowledgeable breeders, who could have been anyone who had
Cavaliers and wanted to step up and be the AKC parent club.
Please clarify one thing for me. If the 12 had paid these (IMHO) outrageous
and ridiculous fines, would they then not have been removed from membership?
Had I been one of the 12, just on principle, I would not have paid, as it was
a great service to the Cavalier world. But all the USA people who scream
"all they had to do was pay and they would not have been kicked out" must
still not get it, and that's the sad part.
I have said it before and I will say it again.
You 12 should be blessed and thanked constantly!!
But the "few" small minded instead shrink our gene pool by their rules, and
remove pictures of great dogs from the past generations that are owned and/or
bred by one of the 12 from the archives.
So very sad and so very wrong.............
