Well, that time may be a lot closer than any of us realize. Just today, I
learned about a new import who is 7 and heart clear with a pedigree that I
know very well. He is exactly the dog we have talked about for months and
months. Remember those conversations where we said.....if there was a
lovely, healthy boy with a wonderful pedigree and he could contribute to our
lines, but he was AKC only, we would want to breed to him? Well, I
believe he may have arrived. I am not going to announce his name or his
owner because she has indicated to me that she is well aware of what a
treasure she has. She well knows how much he can contribute to cavaliers
here in the US. When she is ready to tell us about her new boy, I am sure
she will. However, knowing his lines and knowing his UK breeder, he may
well be THE dog that we have fantasized about using. I am with you, Suze.
When the right AKC boy comes along, we will put the future of our cavaliers
well ahead of some a rule that can only hurt the breed, never help it. Myra
