I may be dense, but I am having trouble understanding something. Since the
CKCSC recognizes as official governing bodies/registries the all breed
English, Australian, Canadian, Irish, New Zealand, French, Swiss and so
forth Kennel Clubs, why can they not simply recognize the official all
breed governing body/registry in the USA - American Kennel Club? The rest
of the world does - and it is the rest of the wrold that will not accept
CKCSC registration papers.
I even went and looked at the By Laws and could find nothing there that
mentioned how a registry is recognized - as a matter of fact I could find
nothing on hte site that stated which registries were recognized. It
doesn't make sense to go thru all of this angst about By Law changes when
there seems to be no need.
Is there a reason that the AKC cannot simply be added to the list of
recognized registries?
