Sharon is absolutely correct...no one has ever described her handling as "gracious."
BUT it isn't bad! The first time Sharon had a dog from the
Bred By class go Best of Breed over the (then) No. 1 Cavalier in the country (and she
did this twice with the same dog) we all stood around the
group ring and gave her instructions, not always quietly, as she and Robin got near to
us (we were a bit spread out). As always, Sharon just
enjoyed herself and yes, I'd say she did it most graciously.
To those of you who don't know Sharon, she is what we used to call a "hot ticket,"
because she is ALWAYS fun, ALWAYS helpful, NEVER mean or
spiteful, and even when she is upset about something, can always see the funny side of
an event or make you feel better about whatever it is that
bothers you. AND she does it at CKCSC events and at AKC events.
And as for whoever it was who threw cold water on the thought that the South will
rise again, fooey - we are all sure that someday it will
happen. All you Yankees keep moving down here, don't you? There must be something
y'all love about the South!
